Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
Limits on discovery
I have a question about limits on discovery in a civil/bankruptcy case. The discovery rules state that each party may only ask a maximun of(30) Interegories, submit (30) requests for documents etc. Does this mean 30 individual documents/line items, or 30 requests asking for multiple documents. Plaintiffs first document request alone had 45 line items. Also if plaintiff is requesting more than 30 items should I provide them or refuse based on discovery rules?

Re: Limits on discovery
I believe if you read the Rule carefully, the limitation is 30 Interrogatories including parts and subparts, but there is no limitation on the number of documents to be produced.
