If a debtor is self employed, what evidence of the previous 6 months income is OK to use in place of paystubs?

A self-employed person can use, as proof of income for the past six months, the financial records that would be used to prepare tax returns or quarterly financial statements, such as ordinary business records that show receipts and expenditures. There is no particular format, but the records should be the ones that are kept in the ordinary course of business.
