My husband and I are in the process of filing Chapter 7. How soon after filing could we sell our home and move to a different state?

Re: Selling home and moving out of state after bankruptcy
You would be able to sell your home after the bankruptcy case was concluded. Assuming there are no unresolved issues in the case, such as adversary proceedings filed by creditors during the bankruptcy, a Maryland bankruptcy case ordinarily concludes in 3 to 4 months after it is filed.
