Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
Utility bill after bankruptcy
Can the electric company demand payment for electric bill on the house we lost through Chap 7. We kept the power on though we had moved out so the pipes would not freeze. The bill is for two months electricity after we filed. They did not seek a deposit to turn on electric at house we had to rent. Do we have to pay old bill?
