Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
Is there a 3 day cooling off period in the state of Maryland to rescind a dating service contract? There were no services rendered. The contract states that $1595 is non-refundable, out of $3995. It's been 48hrs so far and I feel like I signed the contract by coersion.

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. Cooling off periods do not normally apply to contracts, such as dating contract services. If you can prove you signed the contract because someone was holding a gun to your head, that's coercion. If not, your're in for a long haul. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
