Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
Brought a car in maryland from a know car dealer , i left a $2000 deposit. two months later they call me and say i didn't leave the deposit ( they lost it). i checked with my bank and someone tried to cash it, so i stop payment on that check and sent another now there saying they haven't received it, so i sent another but what makes matter worse is that they never sent my tags off the dmv have no record of my car purchase for my new tags and the temp tags are about to expirer. i'm so mad i'm ready to stop payment on this check. what can i do.

You should have copies of all of the paperwork when you took possession of the car, including the bill of sale. Contact the manager of the department that handles tags and make arrangements to come in and pick up your tags. I suggest you stop payment on any checks you've already written and plan to bring them a new check when you come in.
