Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
I have a business idea that I would like to persue but I am questioning the legality of it. Basically my idea is that I want to create an online marketplace where individuals can easily access manufacturers and purchase their goods. The legality issue comes into play because some of the manufacturers will be sell fake or knockoff goods. Now my business would not be selling the goods, they would be purchased directly from the manufacturer and I would receive a commission for that sale.
Thank you in advance for your advice.

If you knowingly allow infringing goods to be sold through your site, you could be liable for contributory infringement.
