Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
Business Owner
We own a roll off company in maryland. When our customers call to rent a can from us we get a credit card number as a form of deposit on the can. We do not charge them. After their rental is over we send a bill to the customers gving them 15 days to pay their bill. If they do not pay within the given amount of time, is it legal to charge the given credit card for the services?

Only if they agreed to it in their contract with you. Also, check with your card processing company to make sure that whatever you do is consistent with their requirements.
