Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
I am the CEO of a Company that investigates claim fraud, auto repair fraud during the course of investigating claim for insurance Company's. can we use a badge for our profession and or a pitcher id or both?

As long as you don't try to misrepresent who you are and what you are doing, and especially try to mislead people into assuming you have some official capacity, you could use a company-issued picture identification. As for a badge, I think that would be misleading, but as to whether it violates some local ordinance or law, check with the licensing office in your county.
