Depending on where you are in this process you may not need an attorney yet. Have you tried contacting the credit bureaus? Each of the three (Trans Union, Equifax, and the one that slips my mind now) have online dispute procedures.
Once you dispute, the company has to show that the debt is yours. If that doesnt work, then perhaps you can contact an attorney or other professional.
