Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
my ex-partner of an LLC business left and wants any inventory that was purchased on the business card. The ex-partner received half of the profit when leaving and I have agreed to pay half of the credit card established under the LLC. Can she have the inventory or do I have to pay her in order to keep the inventory purchased uner the LLC?

The terms of the winding down of the LLC should be covered in your Operating Agreement. I would need to see that to answer your question. If you did not prepare an Operating Agreement, do not sign anything over to her before you speak to an attorney. If you do not have one, feel free to contact me.
