Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
Honoring Competitors Coupons
Is there any legal liability if a business honors the coupons of a competitor? For example a customer brings in a free drink coupon into starbucks but the coupon is for Dunkin Donuts and starbucks gives them a free drink anyhow.

Re: Honoring Competitors Coupons
Businesses do this all the time, for marketing purposes. There is nothing illegal about this.
