Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
International Client
Is it legal to take on international clients? I am a freelance writer, and and an international client has contacted me to do writing for them. If I recieve more than $600 from this person, how do I file my taxes. Do they still need to give me a 1099, or can I complete my taxes without a 1099.

Re: International Client
It is perfectly legal to work for an international client. I recommend you see a CPA for tax income and expense treatments.
