What is the statute of limitations on someone seeking payment through an oral agreement?

In general the statute of limitations in Maryland for civil actions is three years. The fact that the agreement is oral will not affect this.

In Maryland, the statute of limitations on oral contracts is 3 years from when the cause of action accrued. When it accrued is a factual issue about which you should immediately consult with counsel.
