Patient billing
Is there a time limit within which a physician can bill a patient for services provided?

If you reside in MD, I suggest contacting the MD Attorney Gen Office, Consumer Protection Division Medical Billing/Health Insurance Problems: 18772618807. There is a statute of limitations for contracts that may be applicable as well, it depends on how long ago the services were rendered.

There is no such time limit, but there is a statute of limitations that would make the claim stale and therefore uncollectible if suit is not filed within 3 years from the date the payment was due, or from the last date that you may have acknowledged your obligation to pay the bill.
