Do you need a permit or lisence to start an online buisness?

As a Franchise Attorney I can tell you this. You need a business license to start any business. This is a fairly simple process; you just fill out a form with you city and pay a nominal fee. If you have employees, etc. then you need to get an IRS and state employer identification number. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
