Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
I purchased a pair of glasses for $683 online. I had lenses put in them from a local company who shipped them out to have them drilled. When I got them back they were scratched. The company said would refund me the money for the frame plus the lenses they just needed the reciept for the frames, I sent the reciept for $683 and now the company is saying they will only pay me for the retail cost of the glasses which is $120. I want the money I paid for the glasses and they are not paying me for them. Do I have a legit lawsuit?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. It appears you have a valid claim. If you're out $683 and they're only willing to reimburse $120, that doesn't put you back in the position you were in and they need to do that. Sounds like a small claims court matter. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
