Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
Release from liability for damage done to paintings exhibited at my business
My fitness club (in the State of Maryland) will be exhibiting and selling paintings What is the correct form that exhibitors need to sign when they hang their work (inside the club) that releases me from liability in case their art work is damaged by fire, water, or if it is stolen, etc.
Thanks for your assistance.

Re: Release from liability for damage done to paintings exhibited at my business
You should have your attorneys draft a document releasing the club from any liability caused by the events you described. Any attorney can prepare this simple document. You should also check with your liability insurer to see if the paintings will be covered if damaged by fire, storm, defacing or lost due to theft. They may need a list of the paintings so that you can qualify for coverage.
