restrictive covenant for employment

In an employment contract where an outside company employs physicians for a Hospital upon termination of the contract if the covenant states for 12 months Employee will not ''directly or indirectly provide or solicit to provide services at a Hospital'' does this mean that the Employee can accept offers from the hospital administation since the Employee is not the one soliciting? Or does the emplolyee have to dissolve all relationships with the hospital for 12 months?

The quote you provide suggests to me that the contract is intended to prevent any employment for 12 months at that hospital. However, no lawyer should give to you an actual legal opinion without reviewing the entire document because there may be other context or provisions in the document that should be factored.
