Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
travel expenses
My home office is in Landover MD and I am asked to travel to Reston VA, Ashburn VA and Georgetown at least once a week. It's over 100 miles in addition to my normal to and from work. My company says they will not reimburse me even for the GTown visits where there are parking fees!

Re: travel expenses
Unfortunately, unless you have a contract with your employer that requires them to reimburse you for travel expenses, they are not required to do so. (It might be a different story if the company has a policy to reimburse but it is applied unevenly.) If you are not able to negotiate reimbursements and you are not willing to fund your travel expenses out of your own pocket, it may be time to look for another job.
