Re: contract law

The law does not require a written contract for the sale of an automobile. A verbal contract is legal and enforceable, but proof is often difficult. Was there a witness to the transaction? If so, there may be a viable small claims court case. If the car is not unique, it may make more practical sense to forget it and find another car.
