Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Maryland
Friend fails to pay debt
Neighbor calls and wants to purchase motorcycle of ours. Agreed to $300 due in 1 week. He took cycle. It was 1 week later, he calls says he is not going to purchase bike and will return it. That was 10 weeks ago. Sent letter for him to pay by 14 june, has not. What can I do? Report it stolen if there is no written agreement? Help please with a direction to go.
Thanks

Re: Friend fails to pay debt
I believe you have your option of either getting the motorcylce back, or the value that they have never paid you for it. Assuming you wanted to get rid of it, you can file a suit in small claims court for the value of the motorcycle that they owe you. - Michael Worsham
