Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Maryland

my husband spent our little savings and left me wile i was pregnant with our second daughter about a year ago. my parents have been helping me try to get some assistance from social services with no avail , its like they keep sending the same paper work and i cant get any help. i need help as a single mom to get on my feet and my parents can not afford to cotinue supporting me and my children any longer they are not well of and are to old to start over. please help , stacy thank u

While you don't really pose a legal question in your post, I do empathize with your rather difficult situation. Certain public benefits are based on total household income and it may be that your parents even limited income disqualifies you from these. It is hard to tell without looking at the actual figures and applications you filed. You may want to find out whether your applications are still pending or whether they were denied.

You also may want to file a petition for child support for your two children. Maryland law requires each parent to provide support until the children reach 18. You may get some assistance filing out the paperwork for child support at a "pro se" or self-represented family law clinic. You can call the Circuit Court for the county you live in to get the hours for the family law clinic in your area.
