Subpoena and Blackmailed by US Gov't Attorney..allowable?
I received a subpoena from a government attorney. He�s blacking me to testify against the defendant that I personally don�t think the defendant should not get a life sentencing. Compared to the other victims, I was the least servile victim and yet the attorney still wants me to testify. However, can he really blackmail me to testify? He won�t let me express my true feelings about this criminal. I feel like the attorney is going to use my story and manipulate it against his own advantage to win this case. Is this really possible and allowable?

If the defense attorney is doing his or her job, he or she will contact you, and ask you the right questions when you are on the witness stand.
