Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Maryland

Where can I find laws on Pornography and Obscenity in the state of Maryland? I would like to start an adult website. I currently live in MD and from the research I have done that I must obey the laws in the state in which I live, but I can not find the laws. Can I have a website in MD? Can I produce adult material for the website in the state of Maryland?

My first piece of advise would be to hire a Maryland entertainment lawyer to represent you and assist you in your business. The reason is simple -- there are a myriad of obscenity and pornography laws on the federal, state, and local level. The reason you are having a tough time finding the laws in one place is because the laws are not all in one place -- in addition to state and federal statutes and case law, many Maryland counties place various restrictions on these types of businesses, either through morality laws or simply through zoning.

With that said, read the Maryland Code starting at Section 11-201 and you will get a pretty good education.
