Am i bound to a contract where service, according to the contract, was not provided?

Contracts are of a varied sort, some are enforceable and others are not. Service contracts are typically imposed with a reasonable time for performance. However, contacts that involve realty are guided by statute. Basically, your question cannot be answered without further details.
