Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maryland
I had bought a used car 2 days later it broke down and had many problems never fixed! Had taken car back to dealer 24 days after purchasing for such defects and they agreed and gave me half my downpayment back and I wanted to FULL REFUND so I reported them to bbb well they are offering to give me the other half back as long as I write a notorized letter stating there will be no legal action taken against them should I do it? Why would they be asking me to do this? I am in maryland

They are asking you to do it so that you can't file suit against them. If you are getting all of your money back, why not do it?
