Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maryland
Car ownership
In the state of M.D.I recieved my title for a car i purchased 2 months ago but still owe over 12,000 on the car. If I have the titke do I still have to pay? Title holder is always the legal owner of the car? Should I still pay off this car?

Re: Car ownership
Your title to the vehicle may not be clear. A security interest is likely filed against the vehicle. Clerical errors will not give you clear title. Any breach of payment would entitle the company to re-possession of the automobile. You may be required to pay for the costs fo repossession. Contact an attorney should you require further assistance.
