Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maryland
child care breach of contract
Gave 2 weeks notice to our childcare provider according to our contract. Provider sent home a letter terminating care effective today with no notice. Is this a breach of contract? What are our obligations in regards to paying her for her final 2 weeks if she has not met her obligations as per our contract in regards to sending 2 weeks notice?

Re: child care breach of contract
Were the requirements part of a written or verbal contract? If the agreement required two-weeks notice on her part then yes, she is in breach.
