Contractor Problems
I had hired a Contractor to do a sprinkler system at my house. He wrote a contract saying that it will be completed in 1 week. I gave him a check for 50% of the money. After almost a month and a lot of folowing up he came and did some plumbing work to start the process and it been more than 2 months after we did the contract and he has not yet done it. He does not pick up my calls and if I get hold of him using other phones to call, he tells me he will do it ina day or 2, but that never happens. Now what are my options. At this stage, I just want my money back.

Send the contractor your written demand notice

that you want your money back by a date certain or that you will file suit against him in Maryland small claims court.

Then do it if you don't get it.
