Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maryland
Dispute with a vendor
What legal recourse do we have, when our property(Boat) was vandelized and property was stolen out of it. The property owner is giving us a hard time about paying for damages and loss of items.

Re: Dispute with a vendor
This really depends. Was there a security system? Was it functioning? Is there a lease? Think of a duty a landlord might have if an apartment is broken into or a car damaged in the garage.

If the property owner is responsible
for damages to your property while it was entrusted to his or her care, and now refuses to pay, you should consider filing your claim for damages in small claims court.
