Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maryland
Dry Cleaner Liability
If a Dry Cleaner can be proven to not have excercised reasonable care when cleaning a wedding dress and as a result the dress was consequently damaged beyond repair is there any Federal or MD statute or regulation that explicity prevents the recovery of ''special damages'' like the cost to rent a wedding dress for the day?

Re: Dry Cleaner Liability
I believe I answered a similar question, please search the database. Dry cleaners are required to be licensed. I am not aware of any limitation on recovery. A different standard of care may apply since it was a wedding dress.
