Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maryland
Hi, can an establishment charge 20% Food and Beverage Service charge on items other than food and beverage? Specifically, I am having a wedding at a location and they are charging the Food & Beverage rate on the rental space for the ceremony and reception. And then adding 6% state tax on top of it. Is that legal?
