Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maryland

Lawsuit

Comcast has disconnected my internet and cable on three separate occasions, because they had the wires labeled incorrectly. On all three occasions, they attempted to make me pay for the service, even when it was disconnected. Additionally, they tried to charge me for coming to fix our service, after they wrongfully disconnected it. Can I sue the company, and what are my chances of winning a lawsuit against?

I don't know how much money is at stake, but suspect that you'd be better served (if COMCAST is a member of the BBB system) to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If they're a member, you can file a claim for free, and the only costs to you would be if you choose to be represented by counsel. They may also participate in another mediation/arbitration program. I'd ask.

I don't know how useful this would be but the state and federal agencies that regulate cable companies may also be able to help.
