motorized vehicle without a transmission

An auto dealer can sell a car without a motor, steering wheel or any other part.

The question is, "What was the representation made at the time of sale?". If sold "as is" there

is little recourse--"let the buyer beware". If sold with an express warranty, you have a claim based on the terms of the warranty and as supplemented with non-waivable warranty provision provided under Maryland law.

If sold without a warranty, you may have recourse based on Maryland statute. There are alot of questions

that need to be invesigated.

Please research my other reponses to find another question where I responded to

a transmission problem. If you require asssitance, contact me at (410) 799-9002. Having a lawyer on your side-- as well as a properly presented demand letter or call inquiring as to remedy--may

bring the dealer to take action it may otherwise avoid. Small claim actions may also be filed and you would benefit from the service of an attorney as to pleading, answer, juridiction, etc.
