Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maryland

Purchased a boat, several repairs needed to be done by the marina as part of the sale. After closing we found that several repairs were not really done, only appeared to be done so that we would proceed with purchase.

There's no question here. If the marina did shoddy word, and therefore breached the sale agreement, send the marina a written demand letter outlining your issues. You should also go to a different marina and have then give you an estimate of how much it will cost you to fix what should have otherwise already been fixed. Send that estimate with your demand letter. If the marina will not make it right, your only option is to sue. I strongly recommend that you hire a lawyer before you do so to discuss the specifics of your case.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
