College Debt

If you owe a private college money can they garnish your check to get the money?? Is it possible for a school to sue a former student for the money??

Yes, it is possible. The college is a creditor of yours, just like any other debt you might owe. They can only garnish your wages if they sued you and secured a judgment against you. Please contact me if you have any further questions.
