We often get good results by simply sending a letter (on our letterhead) threatening legal action if the invoices are not paid by a certain date. After that, you can file suit in court. If the matter is less than $30K, you can sue in district court and it is relatively inexpensive. You can try all these steps yourself, but hiring a lawyer for something simple like this would probably not cost much. Please feel free to contact me (click on my name below for contact information) if you would like to discuss or get more information -- I handle cases like this all the time. Good luck.
