Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

dismissal or judgement reversal

I just discovered that I have a judgement againt me for a case I was never notified of. I was not even notified of a judgement. I discovered this by chance while pulling my credit report. The time frame for appeal on this case (in the state of Maryland) has long expired. Is it possible to get this judgement reversed or thrown out because I was never notified of any case?

Re: dismissal or judgement reversal

Although the time frame for an appeal has passed, it is possible to file a motion to request that the court vacate the judgment against you due to lack of service.
