Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

Need help with Dr bill turned to Collection Co

I went to a physical therapist after checking he accepted my Ins. They have never billed my Ins. Co. , who will pay, (I called) and the Credit Co. keeps hanging up on me when I call them.

I told the Doctors to FAX a bill to my ins. co and they said there is nothing they can do now.

Must I deal with this rude Collection Agency?

I need a quick yes or no from a kind smart person!!!!

Tell the collection agency that under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, they are to cease all contact with you. They are required to comply except for certain specific exceptions, and their failure to comply can be costly to them.
