Garnishment

Can a loan company garnish my wages for payment of a past debt that I have with them for an unpaid car loan. Can the car be considered totaled or abandoned?

Re: Garnishment

Once they sue you and get a judgment, they can garnish your wages. Whether the car is totaled or abandoned is irrelevant (unless insurance covers the totaled car)
