Interrogatories in aid of execution
I have been asked to complete an Interrogatories in aid of execution paper, and am unsure about whether I include my clothing I own. Will they actually come and take my clothing, shoes, small things like that? Can they take the items of the person I live with even though we aren't married?

Re: Interrogatories in aid of execution
You have to include the clothing in your answers if that information is asked for. However, you may exempt from execution your interest in wearing apparel, appliances, household goods, etc., up to $500 in value. (Used clothing generally has very little value.)The creditor is not entitled to seize property that is wholly owned by the person you live with
Re: Interrogatories in aid of execution
You must provide the answers to the interrogatory but the value of the answer lies in the law. Certain interrogatories are illegal but yours does not seem to be the case. Your personal property is exempted from bankruptcy actions up to a set limit. The ability of a creditor to seize upon assets is also limited. If you have received interrogatories then you are in the midst of pending litigation and you should seek the assistance of an attorney.
