Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

judgement

I went to court for a credit card that was my ex husbands.(he did not show)I did not have a lawyer.I was told by the laywer for the credit card that I was responsible for the bill.I told him it was not mine i never signed for it.Well he told me if i went into the courtroom the judge would attach my paycheck.i asked him if i prove that it is not me ,will that be ok.--He said yes-so i signed it-I sent him a letter from the credit card company that stated that i am not a liable party --delete trade line due to authorized user.how can i get the judgment off?? please help

The rule in Virginia is that authorized users are not liable for the credit card debts of the primary card holder. See Chevy Chase Sav. Bank v. Strong, 46 Va Cir 422, Circuit Court Richmond, Case No. LC-3152-1. If the judgment was not entered too long ago, you can have it voided but you would have to move quickly.
