Missed dental apointment

I missed a dental appointment on Monday 11/19/2001. My dentist billed me Tuesday 11/20/2001, $25.00 for a broken hygiene appt.

Am I legally bound to pay this bill, because I was unable to meet this dental appointment?

I doubt they could probably legally force you to pay, but if you do not pay it will make future relationships difficult. Ask them for the document that requires you to pay, as opposed to them saying it is their policy. Did you try to contact them beforehand to tell them you could not make it?
