Notice of outcome of specific service... What does this mean?

Pleadings and certain other papers in a lawsuit must be "served" or delivered to the other party. The party serving then needs to file proof of service. A docket entry saying "outcome of service" usually shows when the plaintiff has formally served the defendant with the paperwork.
