Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland
I just paid off a creditor who was taking me to court, however a day before they got the payment in the mail I accrued another $9 in interest which resulted in the creditor's computer not automatically moving forward with paperwork to dismiss the case. My case is tomorrow morning and when I spoke with the creditor they realized what had happened and told me just to send in the $9 (regular mail) but to still come to court and ask for a 3506CB... what is a 3506CB? FYI - appearing in District Court of Montgomery County (Maryland). Thanks.

3-506 refers to a rule number in the Rules of Civil Procedure about dismissing a case.
