I have a monetary judgement against someone in circuit court. How do I add post judgement interest?

Re: post judgement interest

LIke other postings have stated, the legal rate is 10% interest from the day of the judgment until it is paid. Add the 10% of the judgment, to the judgment, and demand that from the debtor. - Michael Worsham, [email protected]

Re: post judgement interest

Post-judgment interest is automatically added to every Maryland judgment at 10% annual interest unless the judgment specifies otherwise.

Re: post judgement interest

The legal rate of post-judgment interest in Maryland is 10%. This is simple, not compound, interest, and is calculated per diem from the date of judgment to the date of payment.

Usually, the problem in these situations is not the calculation of interest. The usual problem is collecting the the judgment. If you are having a problem collecting your judgment, I would be happy to discuss the alternatives with you.
