Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

I have received a Motion for Order of Default in MD. Have I been sued? I have a courtcase this month and I stopped making payments in June 2006. Does the Statue of Limitation start when I stopped paying or when a motion was filed?

It sounds like you likely have been sued and failed to answer the complaint. Were you served with court papers? If not, you have grounds to oppose the motion for default. You only have a short time, however, to file such an opposition. It also sounds like you might have a valid defense to the lawsuit. You should defend yourself here, and also consider consulting a lawyer to assist you.
