I'm being sued by a credit card company, I live in Maryland, the statute of limitations is 3 years, my court date is the day after the 3 year limitation, what should I do?

The statute of limitations is stopped by the filing of the case, not the trial date. So if they filed within the 3 year limitation period, they are safe on that ground.

So long as the case was *filed* before the statute of limitations expired, the case is timely filed. Note that many credit card agreements provide that the statute of limitations of a different state--one typically with a longer limitations period--applies.
