Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

My wife has a credit card in her name only. If she defaults, could I, as her husband, be held responsible too? We own real estate jointly, could a lien be put on that?

No - if it's in her sole name, only she can be held liable.

If the real estate is properly titled as tenants by the entireties, a judgment lien as to your wife only would not attach to it.
